Guy Pretending to Help Sick Father of Netizen; Took Victim’s P15,496 GCash Money

A netizen took to social media wherein he expressed his frustration after a scammer who pretended to be helping his sick father took all his money from his GCash account.

It all started when a certain Jayvee Buracan went to the social networking site, Facebook asking for help for his dad’s treatment.

Many expressed their willingness to help and one of which is a Facebook user named Christian Perez.

At first, Christian bluffed that he’s in a branch of BDO and was about to deposit money.

Jayvee thanked Christian but he didn’t know that the latter would only deceive him.

Then, Christian got the security code that only Jayvee should know for his GCASH.

As a result, Christian opened Jayvee’s account and unfortunately took the money over Php15,000.

Jayvee was convinced to give the security code to the sender because that was allegedly the instruction of the “head” of the said bank.

Many netizens felt sorry for Jayvee because he clearly did not know the process so he was easily fooled.

Fortunately, many lend help after his post went viral online.
