Ai-Ai’s schedule was toxic this week because she’ll travel to the United States on May 28 as she needed to finish all her commitments — including the co-hosting stint on Willie Revillame’s “Wowowin: Tutok To Win” and promoting her new single “Siomai (what?)”.

Based on a report on PEP, May 27 was the most important day for Ai-Ai because of the upcoming “pamamanhikan” for her only daughter Sophia. The date of Sophia’s church wedding to her fiancé Vince Bautista will be discussed in the upcoming “pamamanhikan”.

Sophia previously announced her engagement to Vince last April 4 and Ai-Ai supported their marriage as she’s also eager to have a grandchild.

Most likely, Vince and Sophia will be united in the church in December 2021. It was also December when the Comedy Queen married her husband Gerald Sibayan in 2017.

Ai-Ai and her husband will stay in the United States for almost a month because they have personal matters to take care of — including her plan to receive the COVID-19 vaccine there. According to her, she had a valid reason for her decision.

Even though she’s abroad, Ai-Ai made sure that she could promote her new single through virtual guestings and interviews.

“Siomai” was the first song Ai-Ai recorded after ten years and so she’s excited with her new single sounding K-pop and strong last-song syndrome (LSS).
