Kapamilya actor JM de Guzman has been single for five (5) years already and it looks like he will remain single for a long time.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, he admitted that he also wants to have a love life but there are things that prevent him from entering into a new relationship.
He also stressed that he was severely affected by his two failed relationships that caused his depression.
“Twice (na-brokenhearted). ‘Yung talagang depression and naparalisa ako. Kasi I’m too dependent. Kailangan ko kasing ma-supplement sa void na meron ako,” he said.
JM de Guzman is grateful to ABS-CBN because even though he made some mistakes in his personal life, he’s still being trusted and given projects.
He added that he had four girlfriends in showbiz but only two of them really caused severe pain to his heart.
“’Yung dalawa kasi na ‘yun ‘yung naramdaman ko sa kaluluwa ko ‘yung love eh,” he said.
JM has been single for five years now but he prefers not to enter into a new and serious relationship.
“Gusto kong pahalagahan muna itong ibinigay sa akin at maging okay na tao, maging better than yesterday and in my mind na pangarap kong bahay, before I get into a commitment, naka-ready na para du’n,” he said.
