In a report on Latest Chika, the actor was happy to say that he felt stronger and “on top” of his disorder and the challenges he faced despite the rough start during the coronavirus pandemic.

When asked how JM decided to reach out for help, the actor shared that his turning point was reaching rock bottom, wherein he couldn’t even muster the strength to get out of bed.

I cannot even pray because of my thoughts so that time sabi ko wala nag papatawid na ako so yun nag reach out ako. Tinulungan naman ako ng family ko”, JM said.

He then shared that his family was part of his problems so they all had to undergo therapy as well in order to learn how to express empathy for each other.

The actor then reminded those who were experiencing the same that there’s a higher power that would never give them a battle they can’t conquer.

Last August, the actor captured the moment of his panic attack on video in hopes of making others who could relate to him not feel alone.

Meanwhile, Baron Geisler shared his mental health struggle during lockdown.
