Darren Espanto and AC Bonifacio clarified something about their relationship.
During their Magandang Buhay guesting via Zoom, AC insisted that he thinks of Darren as an older brother.
“I think madami pong nagshi-ship sa amin pero kami ni Darren we have an agreement. Kasi kami ni Darren we help each other.. parang magkapatid na kami. He’s like hindi naman kuya, but he’s like an older brother that I didn’t have,” she said.
Darren Espanto, on the other hand, stressed that he and AC are really good friends.
“AC and I po talaga is we are really good friends and we get each other po. And it never crossed our minds na parang ‘paano kung naging tayo?’ kasi our relationship, our friendship, isn’t really like that po talaga,” he said.
“We are just so thankful to have each other’s back all the time,” he added.
Last year, both returned to their respective families in Canada. They have been friends for six years and have done many joint projects.

While Andree Camille “AC” Bonifacio became popular after being named as the first-ever grand champion of the dance competition, Dance Kids.
Along with Lucky Ancheta, their duo was called “Lucky Aces.”
