CARLO AQUINO – The actor took to social media wherein he reposted the statement of Star Magic condemning the bashing of celebrity kids.
“Ang Star Magic ay lubos na nababahala sa pamba-bash at pagbabanta sa mga anak ng aming mga artista sa social media. Ang ganitong uri ng mga post ay iresponsable, walang puso, at nakakapanakit lamang sa mga kapwa,” it said.
“Kasama kami sa aming artist sa pagtawag ng pansin sa mga posibleng paglabag sa mga batas laban sa child abuse (Republic Act 7610) at sa libel ng mga indibidwal ba ito,” it added.
Although Star Magic did not name the artists they were referring to, it can be recalled that the daughter of Carlo Aquino with Trina Candaza previously received a “death threat” from an unknown basher.
Carlo has already confronted the netizen whose identity is yet to be exposed.
Meanwhile, Carlo Aquino took to his Instagram Stories wherein he reposted the statement of Star Magic.
He said: “Bakit pati sanggol o batang walang kalaban laban? Wala ba kayong mga anak? Pamangkin? Huwag naman sana ganun kawalang puso. Ingatan natin ang mundong kakalakihan ng mga batang ito. Huwag nating hayaang maging marahas. Hindi lang para sa anak ng artista, pero para sa lahat.”
Aside from Carlo Aquino, actress Janella Salvador also reposted the statement of the ABS-CBN talent arm.
