Actress Angel Locsin sets up a community pantry on her birthday.

Actress Angel Locsin recently took to social media as she shared that she wanted to celebrate her birthday by setting up a community pantry in Quezon City.

On Thursday, Angel said that she decided to put up a community pantry in Quezon City on her birthday.

According to her, she decided to celebrate her birthday on Friday by putting up a community pantry as a salute to the unity of Filipinos and to those who set up respective community pantries in different parts of the Philippines.

Bilang pagpupugay sa bayanihan ng mga Pilipino at sa mga nagtayo ng mga community pantries sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa natin, I decided to celebrate my birthday tomorrow by putting up a community pantry,” Angel said in her Instagram post.

The actress also said that her community pantry was located at Titanium Commercial Building, 36 Holy Spirit Drive, corner Don Matias St., Don Antonio Heights, Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City and was set to open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm or until supplies last.

Angel advised those who were coming to bring their own eco bags and to follow health protocols. Moreover, Angel said that that all her volunteers had been tested for COVID-19.

The actress had been doing her share in helping Filipinos during the coronavirus pandemic. Last year, Angel raised funds for COVID-19 test kits and donated medical tents.
