Four (4) residents of Quezon City who queued in Angel Locsin’s birthday community pantry underwent COVID-19 testing.
According to Dr. Rolando Cruz, head of the City Epidemiology and Disease Surveillance Unit (CESU), three of them were asymptomatic while the other one is experiencing headache, loss of sense of smell and taste.
According to Cruz, the average incubation period of COVID-19 is five days and this is the fifth day since the actress’ event took place.
The CESU head advised everyone who participated in the mass gathering to go to the CESU office and undergo COVID testing.
On the 36th birthday of Angel, she launched a community pantry that benefited the needy residents of Barangay Holy Spirit in Quezon City.
Unfortunately, chaos raged after a large crowd influx the pantry with some violating the health and safety protocols such as not observing social distancing and not wearing face masks or face shields.
Aside from that, a senior citizen waiting in line fainted and passed away.
Angel Locsin earned negative remarks from netizens following the incident.
