Pilar Pilapil to Duterte: “Be more careful in addressing the public”
Veteran actress Pilar Pilapil has a piece of advice to President Rodrigo Duterte on what if she’s the real mother of the country’s highest leader.
Pilar will star in First Yaya as the mother of Gabby Concepcion- who’s playing the role of the president in the said series.
When asked what advice she could give to the president, she said: “The advice that I can give, is probably to be more careful in addressing the public. Knowing that we are a people of different ages and different ways of thinking,” she said.
“Be more careful in addressing the public, and at the same time, to be aware of the people around him. The people around him are a people who can we really trust and the country can trust,” diretso niyang sagot sa amin,” she added.
First Yaya which also stars Sanya Lopez will air on March 15 on GMA Telebabad.
Meanwhile, Pilar Pilapil is considered one of the living treasures of Philippine showbiz.
She has starred in numerous teleserye and films such as Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit, Unexpectedly Yours Etiquette for Mistresses and to name a few.
