Locals Found Mountain Of Gold In Kivu Containing $25 Trillion
MOUNTAIN OF GOLD FOUND – Locals in Eastern DRC (South Kivu) discovered a literal mountain of gold.
Photos and videos went viral on social media showing villagers flocking to the mountain side. Reportedly, 90% of the soil in the mountain contains gold nuggets or flakes.
Unbelievable as it may sound, the videos posted online would make you think otherwise. In hindsight, even if the the reports were an over exaggeration, there’s no doubt that there’s a ridiculous amount of gold to be found.
According to an article from BBC Pidgin, the mountain contains an estimated $25 trillion worth of gold. Here is another video showing villagers from the Birava village in the Democratic Republic of Congo flocking to get a piece of the treasure.
Unfortunately, officials quickly intervened and ordered police to enforce a return order. Now, authorities are collecting back the gold the villagers found in the mountain.
The DR Congo has been known to be rich in precious metals such as gold, especially along its mountain sides. However, there has been a “gold conflict” where only a few individuals could actually make a profit out of it.
