Current Condition of Former Pres. Joseph Estrada Who’s Fighting COVID-19
JOSEPH ESTRADA – Here is an update on the condition of former President Erap now after testing positive for COVID-19.
The Philippines is one of the countries fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic now. Unfortunately, a spike on the active cases has taken place again after several days of recording over 5,000 new cases of the disease daily.
The pandemic has brought a lot of changes to the country. Currently, the schools and the teachers are delivering the lessons through blended learning – with the use of modules and online classes.
Huge gatherings are still prohibited now in the fight against COVID-19. In fact, community quarantine measures are still up in the country.
The whole National Capital Region (NCR) and four provinces that recorded huge numbers of COVID-19 cases are under an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ). These provinces are Laguna, Bulacan, Cavite, and Rizal.
The ECQ in the NCR Plus areas is from March 29 to April 4. Movements in and out of these areas are limited to essential purposes only.
Currently, the wearing of face mask and the practice of social distancing are already health protocols when going outdoors. There are sanctions set by the different local government units (LGUs) for those who will be caught not abiding by the rules.
A lot of famous personalities contracted COVID-19. One of them is former President Joseph Estrada. He’s admitted in a hospital.
Recently, former Senator Jinggoy Estrada gave an update about the condition of former President Joseph Estrada now through footage. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Former President who is now fighting against COVID-19 assured that he is in a good state now and he is strong.
The 83-year-old former President reminded the public to also be careful and to stay healthy. According to former Sen. Jinggoy, the oxygen level of his father has improved but he still needs further observation. He is currently in the a hospital reuperating.
