Jinggoy Estrada Tours Burial Place of Former Pres. Erap
JINGGOY ESTRADA – The Former Senator revealed that his father, former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada, already got his burial place ready.
The Estrada is one of the most popular surnames in the Philippine political arena. The sons of former Pres. Erap Estrada also joined politics.
Two of his sons, Jinggoy and JV, are former senators. However, 2001, then Pres. Erap was ousted from office over corruption issues.
After stepping down from the presidency, Erap was under a house arrest for four years in his vacation house in Tanay, Rizal. It is now known as the “Joseph Ejercito Estrada Museum and Archives”.
Recently, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada revealed that former Pres. Erap has already built a burial place for him in his vacation place in Tanay. In his vlog, he admitted that he was also surprised that his 83-year-old father has prepared his own burial place already.
“Noong nakita ko ito, tinanong ko, ‘Bakit ka nagpatayo nito? Buhay na buhay ka pa, dad,” he said to the former President.
In his vlog, former Sen. Jinggoy Estrada revealed why former Pres. Erap wants to be buried in that place in case his time will come. According to the former President, it was the spot where he would usually sit and meditate or pray when he was under house arrest.
The former Senator also showed the stone where his father used to sit on whenever he would pray in that spot of the vacation place. It was not stated whether or not the former President has also prepared his coffin.
