Why Erik Santos Avoids Going To Church Wedding Ceremonies
ERIK SANTOS – The Tawag ng Tanghalan judge revealed that he usually avoids going to the church ceremonies when he’s invited in a wedding.
Several celebrities in the Philippine showbiz industry are still bachelors in their 30s. Meanwhile, most of these known personalities in the entertainment field are in a relationship with someone. Only a few are technically single.
Kapamilya singer Erik Santos is one of those who is single now. Currently, he is 38 years old and he was last linked to his fellow singer, Angeline Quinto. Many people really rooted for Erik and Angeline but a romantic relationship between the two (2) celebrities did not progress.
Angeline is now in a relationship while Erik remains single. He is currently one of the judges in the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment of the ABS-CBN noontime variety show It’s Showtime.
Recently, in an episode of Tawag ng Tanghalan, Erik Santos opened up about how he feels being single at 38 years old. The Kapamilya singer admitted that he already feels pressured.
Erik even cited situations when he’s with friends and family and he realizes that he is one of the very few who still has no kid. The singer admitted he’s jealous to the people he’s working with in Showtime as they are in love.
“Syempre tumatanda na ko, e. Matagal ko nang ‘di napi-feel ‘yan, e. – yung kinikilig,” he said.
Erik Santos even revealed that he avoids attending church ceremonies whenever he is invited in a wedding. According to the singer, he prefers going directly to the reception as he can feel sadness whenever he would go to church to attend a wedding.
Meanwhile, being a singer, he is usually invited to sing at the reception. When asked to give a message to Cupid at It’s Showtime, he told him that he wants him to be his target right away.
