Veteran actress Cherry Pie Picache recently took to social media as she revealed that she’s infected by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In a report on PUSH, Cherry Pie revealed that she was infected by COVID-19 but had since recovered from the disease.
Cherry Pie confirmed her struggle with pneumonia and coronavirus disease on Instagram as she thanked those who prayed for her and supported her throughout her ordeal.

In an Instagram post last Thursday, Cherry Pie told her prayer warriors, her family and dearest friends, Dreamscape and ABS-CBN family, and doctors that she’ll forever be thankful, grateful, and blessed to have all their love, support, and help in one of her yet “tough, painful, and scariest 3-week battle”.
Cherry Pie then used the hashtags #ISurvivedCovid19 and #ISurvivedPneumonia in her Instagram post before reminding her followers and fans to #BoostYourImmuneSystem, to #StaySafe to #ObserveProtocols, to #StayHome, to #WearAMask, and to #DrinkYourVitamins.
Cherry Pie was the latest showbiz personality to reveal her struggle with coronavirus disease, following director Jason Paul Laxamana, talent manager Angeli Pangilinan Valenciano, former actress Bianca Lapus, and actress Riva Quenery.
Meanwhile, Angeli’s husband Gary Valenciano shared that his wife was doing okay and wasn’t showing any symptoms of COVID-19. Gary also shared that he and his wife were constantly communicating with each other via online.
Moreover, Gary reiterated that testing positive for COVID-19 “does not necessarily equate to one losing his or her life”.
