Former child star and Hashtags member Bugoy Cariño took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein he penned a heartwarming message for his partner EJ Laure.
Earlier, the 18-year-old star shared a photo of himself alongside his 23-year-old partner sporting a basketball jersey.
It is accompanied by the caption: “Sometimes you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.”
EJ Laure was tagged in the said post. She then reposted it on her Instagram stories with the caption: “I love you so much @iambugoycarino03.”
Prior to that, Bugoy Cariño posted a twinning photo of him alongside EJ wearing a blue jersey.
It is accompanied by the caption: “Dito palang panalo na ako @ennajielaure”
It was in 2018 when rumors surfaced that two members of boy group, Hashtags impregnated someone. This was cited as the reason why they are suspended on It’s Showtime.
Bugoy Cariño and Jon Lucas’ names surfaced.
Jon eventually admitted that he’s already a father and got married to his childhood sweetheart.
But in a mediacon, Bugoy denied the issue.
He even quoted: “Bakit ko naman po idi-deny? Kung meron man po, e, di sana inilabas ko na sa social media. Yung girlfriend ko po, nilalabas ko po sa social media.”
In a separate interview, EJ denied that she’s pregnant and Bugoy is the father of her child.
EJ was 19 years old at the time while Bugoy was only 15.
It can be deduced that Bugoy Cariño waited until he reached the age of 18 before revealing to the public that he’s already a father.
He made the announcement on his 18th birthday last year wherein he introduced his child named Scarlet through an Instagram post.
