Xiaomi on Mi 11 global version: “No more free 18W chargers, but…“
Xiaomi on Monday globally launched Mi 11 during its global launch event and one of the company’s announcements was that there would be no more free 18W chargers.
However, the company surprised Mi fans as it announced that the 55W GaN charger would be included in the box as a package.
To recall, Xiaomi first introduced Mi 11 in China and announced that the company decided not to include the charger inside the box. During the said launch, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said that Mi users can buy Mi 11 either with or without charger.
Lei Jun previously shared that Xiaomi’s idea to remove Mi 11’s charger was already conceived five years ago.
