Roque Under Isolation But Seen Diving In Boracay The Day Before
ROQUE UNDER ISOLATION – Recently, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said he underwent a self-quarantine after one of his staff tested positive for COVID-19.
However, netizens found out that the day before, Roque was actually diving in Boracay. As such, many ask why Roque has been taking leisure trips amid the pandemic.
Last week, Roque announced that government officials don’t need to undergo quarantine and testing when traveling for work. With this, netizens now ask if Roque’s trip was for work or just leisure.

According to DiveGurus Boracay, Roque came to their show on February 6. Additionally, they noted that none of Roque’s staff was with him during his visit. Furthermore, they said that all of their equipment was disinfected and that safety protocols were followed.
“We were informed that he arrived in Manila on Feb 7th and had a negative RT-PCR result. The staff who was tested positive is based in Manila and did not join in Boracay trip.”, DiveGurus said in a statement.
