Here’s what Ogie Diaz said to the bashers of Angel Locsin
Showbiz personality Ogie Diaz defended actress-host Angel Locsin against body-shamers.
Through his recent vlog, Ogie addressed people who are criticizing Angel due to her figure now. Recent photos of the actress went viral and this received various reactions from the online community.
Although there were those who laughed at her for gaining weight, many fans are still fervently showing support for her. Some even fiercely firing back at bashers.
Ogie also showed the same support for Angel. He said that if he is the manager of the actress, he would never tell her to lose weight to have more projects.
“Halimbawa ako ang manager ni Angel Locsin at ganyan siya kalaki sa edad niya, okay na ‘yan basta happy siya,” Ogie Diaz said. He added that at this present time that people are now prone to suffer from mental issues, he would not add to the concern that Angel would think about.
“Hindi ‘yung, ‘oy Angel, ako manager mo, makinig ka sa akin hindi tayo kikita hangga’t hindi ka pumapayat, hindi ka naglu-loose ng weight’. E, paano kung sagutin ako ni Angel ng, ‘nakapag-invest na po ako, so ano pa ang problema ko, happy po ako this way,’” the talent manager said.
For Ogie, the negative comments on the current figure of Angel might have come from the fact that people saw her fit body in the past and eventually witnessing that she is gaining weight.
He added that at Angel’s status now, she is already unaffected by the bashing. “Hindi na nasasaktan sa panglilibak si Angel Locsin sa tagal niya rito sa industriya hindi na para iyakan pa ‘yan ni Angel. Pinanday na ‘yan ng panahon sa mga intriga sa kanya lalo na ‘yang katawan niya,” Ogie Diaz said.
He also stressed that people are just commenting against the actress without knowing that she has been through a lot because of her lower back problem.
