MIGUEL TANFELIX – The Kapuso actor has been announced to play the role of Steve Armstrong in the highly-anticipated live-action adaptation of Voltes V, the Voltes V: Legacy.
On Wednesday, February 10, GMA-7 has finally unveiled who will play the role of Steve as well as Jamie Robinson.
Miguel Tanfelix will play the role of Steve while actress Ysabel Ortega will portray the character of Jamie.
The Voltes V team is now complete: Ysabel Ortega as Jamie, Raphael Landicho as Little Jon, Matt Lozano as Big Bert, Radson Flores as Mark, and Miguel as Steve.
Meanwhile, it was on January 14 when the Kapuso Network released a second teaser for the Philippine adaptation of the hit anime.
It earned mixed reactions from the netizens particularly on YouTube.
Some netizens described the latest trailer of the upcoming series as epic and breathtaking while others are skeptical.
Voltes V is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation and Nippon Sunrise.
It is the second installment of the Robot Romance Trilogy, which also includes Chōdenji Robo Combattler V and Tōshō Daimos.
Despite moderate success in Japan, the series was extremely popular in the Philippines, Cuba and Indonesia.
