Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence was hit near the eye by flying glass while filming her new movie entitled “Don’t Look Up.”

According to celebrity website TMZ and the Boston Globe, glass from a controlled explosion cut her eyelid and left her bleeding.

The report added that the accident happened amid the taping of her upcoming movie produced by Netflix.

After the accident, the filming halted and paramedics came while Jennifer Lawrence was holding her face.

Netflix and the camp of the actress have yet to issue any statement regarding the incident which resulted in a minor injury.

But a Hollywood outlet called Deadline said that unnamed sources noted that the actress was already recovering.

Meanwhile, Don’t Look Up also stars with Timothee Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Evans and Meryl Streep.

Jennifer Lawrence last appeared in the 2019 movie, “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” but according to IMDB.com. she has four movies in the works.

The 30-year-old star made a name for herself after winning the best actress award in the Oscars 2013 for the movie, “Silver Linings Playbook.”

She’s now married to New York art dealer Cooke Maroney. They tied the knot in late 2019.
