Filipino YouTuber unboxed and revealed the unreleased Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra
A certain Filipino YouTuber surprisingly unboxed Xiaomi’s unreleased Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra days after Mi 11 was introduced to the global market.
It was last February 10 when TECH BUFF PH hosted a giveaway wherein he let his followers guess what Xiaomi device was inside the small case.
At first, he gave clues to his followers — “Xiaomi”, “Unreleased”, and “Ultra”.
A day after the giveaway, he uploaded an unboxing video on his YouTube channel. In his hands-on video, which was obtained by Nebb, he unboxed and unveiled Xiaomi’s unreleased version of Mi 11 Ultra.
The said device was said to be codenamed as “star” and was believed to be the “M2012K1G” handset that was recently certified by India’s Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Europe.
TECH BUFF PH shared the said device in both black and white variants.

A huge camera bump can be seen which almost occupied the top portion of the rear part of the device as it comprised of a triple camera system that seemed to include a periscope zoom lens.
The camera housing also included a triple LED flash unit, a “120X Ultra Pixel AI Camera”, and a small secondary screen.
Mi 11 Ultra’s small secondary screen was capable of displaying any app present on the device as it appeared that it can be used for snapping topnotch selfies through the use of rear cameras.
The black variant, which seemed to be a prototype unit of the device, has “12-120mm, 1:1.95-4.1” text instead of an “Ultra Pixel AI Camera” text.

Meanwhile, there’s no word from Xiaomi Philippines or Xiaomi Global on the official launch date and pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
