Dionne Monsanto was retiring from showbiz after 18 years.
Actress Dionne Monsanto recently took to social media as she officially announced that she’s retiring from showbiz after 18 years.
Dionne was best known for her stint on ABS-CBN’s reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” and her role in ABS-CBN’s drama series “Tubig at Langis” as well.
In her Instagram post, Dionne on Thursday said that she started acting professionally for ABS-CBN RNG last 2002 and it had been her “amazing 18 years”. Dionne also thanked those who helped her achieve her dreams.

She also announced it as she had her last TV guesting for ABS-CBN’s “Magandang Buhay” last February 25.
“I want to say thank you so much. This is my last guesting ’cause I’m retiring. I am already retired. Hello, Stranger is actually my last project and this is my last guesting. So, thank you so much ‘Magandang Buhay,'” Dionne said.
According to her, she would be going to Switzerland in order to be with her fiancé Filipino-Swiss businessman Ryan Stalder. Dionne previously announced her engagement to Ryan last February 6.
In her previous post, Dionne revealed that she and Ryan had known each other since 2007, the same year she joined “Pinoy Big Brother”. However, she and Ryan only started dating last 2018.
