Police Authorities Arrest Male Suspect Accused of Abusing His Own Cousin

The police authorities arrested a male suspect in Bohol who has been accused of abusing his own cousin three years ago.

On Friday (February 19, 2021), the Philippine National Police reported that a 20-year-old man has been arrested at Purok Sitio Lantay in Barangay Lombog in Guindulman for allegedly abusing his own cousin.

The suspect has been accused of harassing and abusing his 13-year-old cousin three years ago. Barangay captain Ronald Morales has also witnessed the arrest of the suspect, according to the PNP.

Male Suspect

PNP chief Police General Debold Sinas. Said that the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group-Visayas, Guindulman Municipal Police Station (MPS), and Jagna MPS worked together to arrest the unnamed suspect.

The accused is currently facing five separate criminal cases for violating Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code for alleged abuse.

Loay, Bohol Regional Trial Court Branch 50 Judge Samuel Amila Bilira recommended no bail for the suspect based on the warrant of arrest released.
