New voter registration schedule for overseas voters according to Comelec

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) announced on Saturday, February 13, the new voter registration schedule for overseas voters in the 2022 elections.

According to the poll body, those who are expecting to be overseas starting April 10 until May 9, 2022 are qualified to register as overseas voters.

Filipinos who are turning 18 during the election day but will not be in the country for 1 month are also eligible to register for the upcoming elections.

Meanwhile, applications may now be submitted at the following field registration centers in Metro Manila from Mondays to Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • COMELEC-OFOV, Ground Floor, Palacio del Gobernador Building, General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila
  • Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Blas F. Ople Building, Ortigas Avenue cor. EDSA, Mandaluyong
  • Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) – Aseana, Bradco Avenue cor. Macapagal Boulevard, Aseana Business Park, Parañaque
  • Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), SM Manila Satellite Office, Almeda-Lopez cor. A. Villegas and 1000 San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila.

On the other hand, applicants who will register via COMELEC-OFOV should set an appointment first through any of the following.

  • Call telephone numbers (02) 8522-2251 or (02) 8521-2952
  • Direct message via Facebook Messenger through the link on the Office for Overseas Voting PH Facebook page (Hyperlink Overseas Voting PH Facebook page: fb.com/overseasvotingph)

The deadline for filing of applications for new registration as overseas voters will be this coming September 30.

  1. Hello. I would like to ask if when are we going to have our voters ID it’s been 5yrs I haven’t received it. If not I will have to register again to get an ID. How come it took so long to give our voters id? Thank u.
