Earlier, Bituin Suganob, a teacher at Alfonso Xll National High School, took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she posted a photo of the students from Libacao, Aklan while at the top of the tree.

In the caption on her post, she narrated how she was able to secure a photo of her Grade 11 students who were at the top of the tree while patiently waiting for a cellphone signal to give her update with their module amid modular distance learning.

The students live in an area where the signal is difficult.

According to her, she was impressed by the efforts of her students that’s why she was prompted to post the photo.

However, she does not encourage students to do such because it is not safe.

The photo of the 3 students was also posted on the Facebook page of a local radio station in Aklan and it earned numerous shares and reactions from the netizens.

Meanwhile, distance learning is being implemented while face-to-face classes across the country have been prohibited amid the pandemic.

President Rodrigo Duterte also stressed that he will not allow the return of face-to-face classes despite calls that schools are now safe.

Malacañang Palace on the other hand said the president is not in favor of returning face-to-face classes because he wanted for the vaccination program to be launched first.
