Xiaomi revealed its new brand ambassador for Mi 11
Xiaomi recently announced that the company officially revealed its new brand ambassador for its latest Mi phone, the Mi 11.
This, as Xiaomi had recently shared its latest announcement poster showing the ambassador himself holding Xiaomi’s latest smartphone.
And yes, the brand ambassador was no other than the CEO himself!
In a report on Gizmochina, the caption for the said photo revealed that the decision by the marketing department to use Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun as the new brand ambassador was a result of fans’ requests.
Also, billboards of the new promotional image would be put up at Beijing Capital International Airport’s T3 terminal.
Lei Jun was one of the most popular CEOs in the Chinese tech industry and was also loved by fans of the brand.
As such, Xiaomi has not made a bad decision by using its CEO to market the company’s new phone.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 even had a “special Lei Jun edition” variant that had a unique finish and Lei Jun’s signature engraved on it. Surprisingly, the special edition wasn’t the version Lei Jun was holding in the promotional images.
