Xian Lim: “I am still pretty scared”
Kapamilya actor Xian Lim was traumatized after thieves broke into their house in Antipolo early this month.
Previously, he shared on Instagram that four people ransacked their house stealing valuables.
According to him, he had just returned home when he noticed the damage caused by the forced entry into the window of their house.
Xian Lim immediately noticed what the thieves had stolen including their TVs and computer.
Two pieces of 2×2 blocks of wood were also left inside the house, with long and rusty nails protruding at the end.
Xian Lim believes that is what the suspects used to break the windows and destroy the door locks of the house so that they can enter inside as well as use them as their “weapons.”
Meanwhile, in a virtual presscon for his upcoming movie Parang Kayo Pero Hindi, the actor shared some of the precautionary measures they had after the incident.
“After it happened, I was really thinking if I should make it public or kung ikukuwento ko ba sa publiko,” he said.
“Sasabihin ko ba na nanakawan ako at pinasok yung bahay namin, and it took me a couple of days talking to my mom, talking to my lola and everyone?,” he added
“I felt like it’s my responsibility as a public figure na ibahagi sa mga tao na to be more careful,” he noted.
“Siyempre, nowadays, ang daming nangangailangan, and it’s actually an eye-opener na we live in a very dangerous place,” he stressed.
Xian still could not accept what had happened but was grateful that none of his family members were hurt.
“I’m still pretty traumatized and I am still pretty scared. Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na nangyari yun, e,” he said.
