Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto responded to a netizen teasing him as Doh Kyung-soo also known as D.O., a member of K-Pop group EXO.
Recently, he took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he replied to a tweet thanking ” all EXO members.”
This came after his update among his constituents regarding the use of firecrackers amid the celebration of New Year.
“Hindi po ako member ng EXO,” Vico Sotto said.
His tweet was then flooded with reactions and comments from the netizens with some noting his resemblance with the EXO member.
Aside from being a singer, D.O. also made a name for himself in the world of acting.
He has been part of numerous films and series such as “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “My Annoying Brother,” “100 Days My Prince,” and “Along with the Gods.”
On the other hand, Vico Sotto is the son of Vic Sotto with veteran actress Coney Reyes.
It was in 2019 ran for Mayor of Pasig and won with a platform focused on public consultation, data-driven governance, and universal health care in Pasig, which prioritizes housing programs, easier access to education, and cracking down on corruption.
