The funny video of a young sacristan eating “Ostyas” or known as sacramental bread during mass goes viral online.
The Facebook page “TikTok Lang Malakas” has shared the funny video footage of a young sacristan eating sacramental bread during a Church mass. The video garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the young man is smiling while chewing something on his mouth. After a few moments, the boy showed the ‘ostyas’ inside the cup and picked it for consumption.
The unidentified sacristan together with his colleagues were eating the sacramental breads and it seems to be a ‘Mukbang’.
Ostyas is the bread used in the Christian ritual of the Eucharist along with the sacramental wine. It is also called as sacramental or Communion bread, which was to the devotees during the Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion.
The communion bread has been already a part of the Catholic culture and tradition throughout the decades.
