Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza “scolded” her boyfriend and fellow Kapuso star Jak Roberto for doing this during the coronavirus pandemic.
In Jak’s new vlog, he planned to fool his girlfriend into thinking that he made outrageous upgrades on his pickup truck.
The said truck, which has the same model and color as his vehicle save for a few customized features, was actually lent to him by a friend who owned the automobile shop which he frequents.
His own truck was at the shop for maintenance and had to be kept there for three days. He then visited his girlfriend’s home for lunch before showing her the said truck.
While Barbie noticed a few differences on Jak’s truck, she didn’t seem to suspect that the truck wasn’t his.
Barbie then seemed pretty chill about the “upgrades” Jak did even though she had difficulty getting on and off the vehicle because of the heightened suspension.
Jak then finally admitted to his girlfriend that the truck he brought wasn’t actually his, adding that he’s actually surprised at Barbie’s reaction to the vehicle.

Barbie countered that upgrading for a vehicle was practical, but she called out her boyfriend on some unnecessary purchases which he recently made during the pandemic.
“Hindi sa sasakyan. Dito sa gimbal ako nanggigigil, saka doon sa bagong Yeezy. Alam naman hindi magagamit kasi hindi pa naman (lumalabas). Ay nako. Doon ako talaga (nagagalit), sapatos at saka sa gimbal na ngayon nginig na nginig si kuya kasi ang bigat. Doon ako nayamot. ‘Yung sasakyan okay lang. Ginagamit naman ‘yan araw araw,” Barbie said.
Aside from the scolding, Barbie’s positive reaction helped her boyfriend make up his mind about the future upgrades he wanted for his car.
Jak also promised to give an update on the upgrades he would make on his vehicle in his future video.
