“Charlie’s Angels” star Tanya Roberts died at the age of 65
Actress Tanya Roberts, known as a Bond Girl and one of the members of the TV series “Charlie’s Angels”, died at the age of 65.
This, as Roberts’ publicist and long-time friend Mike Pingel told USA TODAY that Tanya died last Sunday, January 3.
Mike, however, didn’t disclose the cause of Tanya’s death. Instead, he said that Tanya didn’t die from a coronavirus disease, adding that she’s extremely cautious during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I’m devastated. She was brilliant and beautiful and I feel like a light has been taken away. She was the sweetest person you’d ever meet and had a huge heart,” Mike told the Hollywood Reporter.
In a report on TMZ, Mike said that Tanya was on a walk with her dogs on Christmas Eve, adding that she collapsed when she returned home.
As per the report, Tanya was taken to the hospital in California and put on a ventilator but never got better.

Tanya Roberts was born in New York in 1955 and started her career as a model. She was married to Barry Roberts for several years before the latter’s death in 2006 and they didn’t have any children.
She joined “Charlie’s Angels” as a replacement for Shelley Hack and played as Julie Rogers in the detective series along with Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith from 1980-1981.
Later, Tanya played as Bond girl Stacey Sutton in “A View To A Kill” in 1985 and starred in “The Beastmaster”. Also, Tanya was a model for different ads and appeared in some Broadway productions.
Tanya was survived by her partner of 18 years Lance O’Brien and her sister Barbara Chase.
