Here are the most tweeted about accounts on Twitter this year
The micro-blogging site, Twitter has unveiled the “Top 10 Most Tweeted About Accounts” this 2020.
P-pop band SB19 topped the list followed by Kapamilya stars Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber.
Landing on the fourth spot is Maine Mendoza with Alden Richards in the fifth place.
The radio station of ABS-CBN, MOR 101.9 listed top 6 while former Kapamilya talent Kisses Delavin landed in 7th place.
OPM band Ben&Ben notch the 8th spot with former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house Karina Bautista on the 9th place and earning the 10th spot is singer Darren Espanto.
Meanwhile, here are the top 10 most tweeted about hashtags in the Philippines; #sb19, #mayward, #mainemendoza, #morhot10, #maymayentrata, #aldenrichards, #donkiss, #edwardbarber, #kissesdelavin, #karjon, #ThisHappened.
In a statement, Twitter noted that entertainment remains the top conversation driver among Filipinos.
“Perhaps, Entertainment kept Filipinos (virtually) together, and staying updated with the scene became their solace and joy in the rather mundane life at home,” Twitter said.
Aside from the most tweeted about accounts, the social media platform also unveiled the most liked, most retweeted, and most quote retweeted posts this year.
