Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Simbang Gabi and Misa de Gallo 2020 will go on provided the observance of safety and health protocols.

Simbang Gabi is a devotional nine-day series of Masses practiced by Filipino Catholics and Aglipayans in the Philippines in anticipation of Christmas.

While Misa de Gallo is the Catholic mass celebrated around midnight of Christmas Eve and sometimes in the days immediately preceding Christmas.
