Staff of Senator Bato dela Rosa Confirms Lawmaker Who’s COVID-19 Positive Brought To Hospital

SENATOR BATO DELA ROSA – The staff of Sen. Ronald dela Rosa confirmed that the lawmaker was brought to the hospital amid his COVID-19 fight.

The threats of COVID-19 are still present in the Philippines. The disease was declared as a pandemic and more than 200 countries and territories across the globe have recorded cases of the disease.

In the Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH) has logged a total of 435,413 cases of the disease as of this writing. Out of the said total number, 8,446 people died and 399,325 coronavirus patients have already recovered.

Several known personalities in the country contracted COVID-19. One of them is Sen. Bato dela Rosa.

Sen. dela Rosa and three (3) other members of his household including his daughter tested positive for COVID-19. The first one to show symptoms of the disease is their house helper who went to a salon for a haircut.

After knowing the results of their COVID-19 swab test, Senator Bato dela Rosa and his daughter isolated in a quarantine facility.

However, amid their COVID-19 fight, Senator Bato dela Rosa was brought to an undisclosed hospital. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, his staff confirmed that he suffered from fever, cough, and colds so he was brought to the hospital for monitoring.

The staff of the Senator assured that his condition is improving now and he might be discharged anytime. His daughter is also going home after completing the 14 days of the mandatory quarantine in the facility.
