Russia was likely to ban YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter over “censoring content” as the country had smelled dubious activities of US tech giants.
In a report on Financial Express, the Russian Parliament had drafted legislation against the tech giants in the United States.
Accordingly, regulators would block social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter if they’re found guilty of censoring Russian people’s content.
With this legislation, the Russian Parliament was planning to restrict the companies which had been circumventing their drawbacks lately.
