A Parol maker couldn’t hold back his tears after his customer refused to get the lanterns he and his co-workers made which cost as much as P100,000.
Recently, a certain Arlene Simon took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein she shared the unfortunate fate of their business.

Netizens were mixed reactions following the incident.
“POST NYO YUNG BOGUS BUYER NA YAN NANG MADALA. grabe d na naawa,” An Gela wrote.
“nag sign po kayo ng contract para dito? para mahabol nyo po?” Marc Ger commented.
There are some who mentioned public affairs program such as Raffy Tulfo in Action, hoping that it will help the parol vendor.
A netizen with handle name Sherwin Gonzales expressed his interest to buy the parol.
“ate pakisabi ako na bibili lahat para kay kuya idodonate ko sa brgy hall namin. Nag pm na po ako sau,” he said.
According to another netizen, the parol maker has been identified as “junior lakay”, located at Central Market, Sta. Cruz Manila.
The netizen added that each parol cost 70 pesos each for both white and red lanterns.
