Netizens Slam Police For Saying Gregorio Deaths Were Mother’s Fault

Netizens Slam Police Officer Ariel Ruego Burago For Statements On Gregorio Deaths

NETIZENS SLAM POLICE – Following the gruesome deaths of Sonya and Frank Griego, several opinions regarding the incident were posted online.

However, when police officer Ariel Ruego Burago said “Lesson Learn kahit puti na ang buhok o ubanin na tayo eh matuto tayo rumispeto sa ating mga Kapulisan”, netizens were quickly angered.

Burago added that it’s difficult to fight restraint and patience as he talked about the recent killings. Afterward, a netizen by the name of Shiela Mae commented and asked:

Netizens Slam Police For Saying Gregorio Deaths Were Mother's Fault

“So sinasabi nyo sir kasalanan po ni nanay Kong bakit sya nabaril ng pulis kasi wala syang respeto?. Afterward, Buraga simply replied with “Opo”.

Because of this, Buraga was bombarded with negative comments. Netizens say that losing patience is never a valid reason to kill. Moreover, they emphasized that the primary duty of police was to “serve and protect”.

Unfortunately, the opposite happened and a simple altercation resulted in the deaths of two innocent civilians.

Meanwhile, due to the backlash, Buraga took it upon himself to defend his statements. He said that it was normal for netizens to post negative comments due to misinterpreting what he said.

He explained that he didn’t approve of what the killer cop did. Instead, he simply wanted to point out that the cop was just “triggered” because the mother had no respect for police.

  1. How ’bout the child of the police murderer, was she not disrespectful…at all???!!! Did you mean that a policeman must have been respected by the elder woman while the younger child must not respect the elder due to his father’s being an authority???!!! Is that so?

  2. This Burago should, at this early stage, be disciplined or assigned to desk duty. His statement is not good for the image of the police force. He is another ticking time bomb who may also lose his patience when he
misinterpretss somebody’s lack of respect. We do not need policemen who have such psychological profiles.

  3. What happened to police maximum tolerance? dapat hindi ka nag pulis kung wala kang self control against this kind of situation and it also doesn’t give you a right to kill two persons because hindi ka nirespeto? kung ganyan ang pananaw mo bilang isang pulis dapat mag resign ka at humanap ka ng ibang trabaho because if not this thing will happen again.

  4. Nuesca at first trespassed, confronted the two civilians conflict bringing with him his service fire arm, at the same time, let his child participate in the commotion. With all the bad disgression he had, another policeman says it was the victims fault to trigger Nuesca’s ego. I say, PNP must have been trained so well to save their own even if clearly, it shows how poorly trained Nuesca was.
