Poor Farmer Seeks Help After Typhoon Rolly Destroys His House and Livelihood
A poor farmer is now seeking help after Typhoon Rolly washed his rice harvest away and now living along the bridge together with his family.
A Facebook user named John victor Secillano has shared the heartbreaking photos of a poor farmer who is a victim of Typhoon Rolly. The tear-jerking photos garnered various reactions from the online community.
The less-fortunate farmer identified as Kuya Romy is a hardworking man from Paclas, Libon, Albay. He and his family were severely affected by Typhoon Rolly, which destroyed their home and livelihood.
Kuya Romy said that his newly-harvest rice had been washed away by the flood. The farmer is currently living at a tent beside a bridge in Paclas, Libon, Albay together with his family eating rice and salt only.
The poor man asked Secillano to take a picture of him and upload it on social media to reach Jessica Soho. He is hoping that they would receive help from kind-hearted individuals.
Here is the full post:
Sabi nya “back to zero nanaman”. Wala silang damit, tirahan at pagkain.
