Miss Universe Colombia 2020 pageant misspelled surname of Catriona Gray.
The technical team of Miss Universe Colombia 2020 pageant misspelled the surname of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray during the introduction of the judges.
This, as Catriona was invited as one of the judges for this year’s Miss Universe Colombia.
The incident happened when Catriona’s full name was flashed on the screen as the said pageant was aired on national television in Colombia.
Based on the photo above, her name appeared as “Catriona Garay” instead of “Catriona Gray”.
As Catriona went on to look at the camera with a smile, she appeared unfazed by the mistake after seeing her name on the screen.

With this, netizens in Colombia as well as Filipino users reacted on Twitter after seeing Catriona’s name on television.
Some netizens said that pageant fans were worried that Catriona might not return to Colombia after the said incident.

Following the said incident, Catriona uploaded a photo on her Instagram Stories wherein she took a selfie with one of her fellow judges.
Meanwhile, she posted on her Instagram account as she’s excited to see how Laura Olascuaga, who recently crowned as Miss Universe Colombia 2020, would share her beautiful country to the Universe.
