Heart Evangelista: ‘Camera doesn’t need to be “on” for you to help’
Heart Evangelista responded to a basher who’s curious if she has donated to the victims of recent calamities in the country.
On Twitter, a certain reinarizzz asked the Queen of Creative Collaborations if she has opened her wallet for donation.
“Sorry di ko ata nakita pero nagbukas na ba ng wallet si Heart Evangelista. La lang cure use lang.”
To which Heart Evangelista replied: “Camera doesn’t need to be “on” for you to help.”
Apart from replying to the basher, the actress-model also corrected the basher in another post:
“Also – curious dapat. #researchpamore,” she noted.
The interaction between Heart Evangelista and the basher earned reactions and comments from the netizens
“‘Yung “pics or it didn’t happen” mentality talaga ang isa sa mga negative effects ng social media,” a netizen said.
“Pag tumulong ka tapos binroadcast mo, sasabihin nila mga nagpapasikat o clout chaser, pag naman tumulong ka ng di mo pinapakita sa madla, hahanapan ka ng katunayan na tumulong ka. May masasabi at masasabi talaga mga tao,” another netizen noted.
“Agreed! Nor should there be a need to broadcast to social media that you’ve done something. Help should always be voluntary. You aren’t heartless for not posting about it,” a netizen wrote.
