The Wanted singer Tom Parker revealed that he was diagnosed with grade four glioblastoma “inoperable” brain tumor.

On Monday, October 12, the British singer took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein he shared the sad news noting that they “are all absolutely devastated but are gonna fight this all the way.”

“We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options,” Tom Parker said.

According to him via an interview with OK! Magazine, the diagnosis came after a series of tests and “unexplained seizures”.

“I was in shock. It’s stage four glioblastoma and they’ve said it’s terminal. It was a lot to deal with by myself. I still haven’t processed it,” Tom Parker said.

Tom Parker is currently undergoing treatment such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy for six weeks already at a hospital in London.

He rose to fame as the frontman of the band, The Wanted, which is behind the hit songs; “Glad You Came,” “Heart Vacancy” and “All Time Low.”

However, in 2014, the 5-man group disbanded.
