Despite her successful career in the music industry, Taylor Swift shared her sad news about her mother, Andrea Finlay Swift.
In an interview with Variety, Taylor Swift revealed that her mother, Andrea, was having a battle with an “undisclosed type of cancer.” Aside from cancer, she revealed that her mother was also diagnosed with a brain tumor.
It was in March 2019 when Taylor announced about her mother who was “fighting her battle with it again.” In December 2019, she announced that her Lover concert tour will have fewer schedule dates in order for her to take care of her mother.
Her revelation came just in time for her upcoming Netflix-produced documentary, the Taylor Swift: Miss Americana, which will have an opening gala premiere for the Sundance Film Festival on Thursday, January 23. This documentary will have a theatrical release and Netflix streaming on Friday, January 31.
