Instagram celebrates its 10th birthday as it released new update that can change an app icon.

Photo-sharing app Instagram celebrated its 10th birthday and the platform invited its users to change their app icon into a classic one.

With its new update, Instagram added all of its classic icons within the app’s secret menu that lets users revert to some of its classic app icons.

As part of the app’s latest update for Android and iOS devices, a new hidden menu had appeared within the “Settings” application that’s easy to locate and activate.

Users would be able to change their Instagram app icon all from within the photo-sharing service as long as they have version 163.0.0.6.122 build (version 162.0 on iOS phones) on their devices.

There were a total of 13 app icons with which users can customize their homescreen. The entire selection was a far cry from the minimal icon that was first introduced last 2016.

For purists, the 1:1 ratios would not return, as this was just a visual nod to the classic icons over the past decade.
