Harry Roque on memes of himself: “Akala niyo di ko nakikita”

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque recently took to social media as he shared some memes featuring himself with his arms outstretched.

This, as he made light of trending memes that poked fun at his recent stay in Boracay, which had reopened to more tourists last week after the COVID-19 pandemic shuttered the island for nearly half a year.

The reference photo was described as a photo of Harry Roque with his arms outstretched as he encouraged tourists to visit Boracay Island.

After it was uploaded on Facebook, the said image was edited to the point that Roque was seen in movie and anime scenes and in sports events, among others.

With this, Roque posted several memes of himself on his Facebook page. He even added a caption for every meme that he shared on Facebook.

And yes, his post immediately reached 2,500 Facebook reactions just 20 minutes after it was posted.

Akala niyo di ko nakikita. Tawa lang kayo. #kalmaAkoLangTo” Roque said.

This, after Malay, Aklan Mayor Frolibar Bautista reported last week that only few tourists had visited the island during the first day of reopening.
