The total number of coronavirus cases in the Philippines already reached 371,630 with over 1,600 newly-reported cases, according to the Department of Health (DOH).
This, as the Department of Health gave an update on the total number of COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of 4:00 p.m. today, October 26, 2020.
According to its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #226 dated October 26, 2020, the Department of Health reported 1,607 newly-reported COVID-19 cases. This brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 371,630.
Also, the Department of Health reported 36,333 total active cases wherein 82.6% were mild cases, 10.9% were asymptomatic cases, 4.1% were critical cases, and 2.3% were severe cases.

Moreover, the Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of new coronavirus cases as of October 26 only: Davao City with 90 new cases, Cavite with 88 new cases, Rizal with 74 new cases, Negros Occidental with 68 new cases, and Quezon with 68 new cases.
Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health had recorded 245 newly-reported recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 328,258. Also, the Department of Health recorded 62 newly-reported fatalities, bringing the total number of coronavirus deaths to 7,039.
