Relationship of Daniel Padilla and BB Gandanghari
Daniel Padilla assured that his relationship with BB Gandanghari is good.
However, the Kapamilya A-lister admitted that it has been a long time since they last talked.
BB is the former matinee idol Rustom Padilla, brother of action star Robin Padilla and Daniel’s father Rommel Padilla.
BB Gandanghari is currently based in the U.S.
In the virtual presscon of his digital movie, The House Arrest of Us alongside Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla was asked about his relationship with BB.
“Matagal na kaming hindi nag-uusap ni Tita BB, e,” the actor said.
“Pero tuwing nagkikita naman kami, parang lagi kaming magkasama,” he added.
In Daniel Padilla’s statement, he clearly wants to convey that the Padilla clan is close-knit.
“Ganoon naman lagi ang relasyon ko sa kanila, lalong-lalo na sa Padilla side, di ba?
“Hindi naman ako lagi nag-[aalala], dahil alam kong pamilya ko iyon, kadugo ko yung mga Padilla, hindi ba?
“So, every time magkikita, parang magkasama kami all the time. Walang pinagbabago.”
He stressed: “And Tita BB is really a beautiful person.”
BB Gandanghari has been open to public about her rift in the family.
When BB started her YouTube channel, one of the first things she discussed was her resentment towards the clan, specifically her brother Robin.
BB Gandanghari shared that her family does not greet her even though she is far away.
She also said that she could not feel love and concern from her family, especially during this pandemic period.
