Apple officially launched iPhone 12 series.
Apple officially launched its most-awaited devices — the iPhone 12 series — during its “Hi, Speed” virtual launch event.
This, as Apple officially launched these handsets — along with HomePod Mini — during its virtual event.
Apple unveiled four variants from the said series. Here are the following:
iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini
According to Apple, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini has a lot of similar features — Super Retina XDR display, five color variants, A14 Bionic chip, and dual-camera system.
However, these variants also have differences when it comes to other key factors.
In terms of the handset’s weight, iPhone 12 weighs 164 grams which was heavier than the iPhone 12 mini with 135 grams.
For the display size, iPhone 12 has a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 12 Mini has a 5.4-inch display.
iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max
According to Apple, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max has a lot of similar features — four color variants, Super Retina XDR display, Apple ProRAW, LiDAR Scanner, and triple-camera system.
However, these variants also have differences when it comes to other key factors.
In terms of the handset’s weight, iPhone 12 Pro Max weighs 228 grams which was heavier than the iPhone 12 Pro with 189 grams.
For the display size, iPhone 12 Pro Max has a 6.7-inch display, while the iPhone 12 Pro has a 6.1-inch display.

Prices
The prices* for these handsets may vary depending on the variant: iPhone 12 mini starts at USD 729, iPhone 12 starts at USD 829, iPhone 12 Pro starts at USD 999, and iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at USD 1,099.

Availability
In terms of its availability, Apple will start accepting pre-orders for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro on October 16, 2020, and will be available in the United States on October 23, 2020.
For iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini, Apple will start accepting pre-orders on November 6, 2020, and will be available in the United States on November 13, 2020.
Apple has yet to announce the availability of these handsets in the Philippines soon.
