Viva Entertainment To Produce PH Version Of ‘The Masked Singer’ On TV5

Viva Entertainment will produce the Philippine version of “The Masked Singer” on TV5.

Viva Entertainment, Inc. officially announced that it will produce the Philippine version of “The Masked Singer” which will be aired on TV5.

This, as Viva Entertainment — led by media mogul Vicente “Boss Vic” Del Rosario, Jr. — became the owner of the local version of the said show.

To recall, “The Masked Singer” was an international music game show that was originated from South Korea, specifically from the show “King of Masked Singer”.

The said show has more than 30 franchises around the world, with one of the most popular in the United States featuring actress-model Jenny McCarthy Walberg, comedian Ken Jeong, singer Robin Thicke, and singer Nicole Scherzinger.

The Philippines would join countries – including Belgium, Australia, Romania, and China – to have “The Masked Singer” franchise which would be featured soon on TV5.

With this, Viva Entertainment had bought the rights of the international music game show and it will be called “Masked Singer Pilipinas”.

Moreover, the said show was currently having an online competition where netizens were asked to post a wacky selfie at Masked Singer Pilipinas official Facebook page with the hashtag #MSPAudience.

In addition, lucky participants would be given an opportunity to become one of the members of their live virtual audience.

TV5 on Saturday officially introduced the hosts and judges of the said show, which would start to air on October 24 at 7:00 in the evening.

Meanwhile, several stars from ABS-CBN would once again be seen on Kapatid Network and would star in various blocktimer shows on TV5.
