Do you still remember former child star Serena Dalrymple?
Serena Dalrymple rose to fame in the year the 1990s after starring in some of the renowned series and movies.
But the former child star is now a 30-year-old lady.
Recently, she went to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein she posted a throwback photo of her as she celebrates her 30th birthday on Monday, September 7.
Her photo was then flooded with birthday greetings from netizens and her celebrity friends.
Among those who greeted her on her special day is Carlo Aquino and Camille Prats.
Meanwhile, it was in 2004 when she announced her retirement but in 2008, she returned to acting via Ang Tanging Ina Ninyong Lahat and Ang Tanging Ina Mo (Last na ‘To!).
She is now based in the US and based on her LinkedIn profile, she now works in a private company as a data analyst.
When asked by entertainment website, Push why she left show business, she said:
“Marami akong reasons for leaving showbiz and Philippines. One of the biggest reasons was during the time na wala ako masyadong projects, and I realized na I can’t rely on just my acting career I need a back-up plan, eventually my back-up plan became my priority. I chose studies over acting.”
