Kapuso Foundation Ambassador Rocco Nacino officially joined the Naval Special Operations Group (NAVSOG) as an honorary member.
This, as he joined the officers of the Philippine Navy unit in a graduation ceremony conducted at its headquarters in Sangley Point in Cavite City.
With this, the actor now carried four post-nominal titles in his full name as a testament to his achievement: PO3 Enrico Raphael Quioge Nacino, RN, MAN, NAVSOG, PN (Reserved).
Rocco said in a text message that he sent to GMANetwork.com that his partnership with the Naval Special Operations Group had a significant purpose – to create more and bigger activities in helping Filipinos and the Philippines.
Also, the actor said that Descendants of the Sun PH – where he portrayed as a technical sergeant – played an essential role in enabling him to work with the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

The actor was accompanied by his girlfriend Melissa Gohing in his visit to the headquarters of the Naval Special Operations Group.
Meanwhile, Descendants of the Sun PH actor Dingdong Dantes officially joined the Philippine Navy as a Lieutenant Commander.
With this, Dingdong carried his post-nominal title in his full name as a testament to his achievement: Lieutenant Commander Jose Sixto G. Dantes III, PN (Res).
